I have been a botanical artist for fifteen years. I started to specialise in botanical art after gaining a degree in illustration at Plymouth university. I have a silver-guilt medal from the RHS for Species Lilium. I enjoy painting the plants that I can grow in my garden as well as the native wild flowers. I also have an interest in lichen and mosses as well as ferns. I enjoy the therapeutic value of botanical painting along side the scientific aspect of observing and painting plants.
