‘Fungi Walk and Workshop’ with Pete Baker at Durborough Farm, Aisholt near Bridgwater, Somerset (SATNAV What 3 words: syndicate.magnets.aged)

Car park in the Farmyard. Drinks and utilities provided, please bring your own lunch.

In the morning there shall be an educational hill walk in fields that require suitable shoes and clothing with reasonable mobility. Pete shall provide focussed information about different types of Fungi including waxcaps and rare grasses growing in the area that are Nationally acclaimed.  Specific specimens can be collected for further studies at the farm. In the afternoon there are two options, the first being to draw and paint specimens in the farm barns and where your own equipment is required, the alternative option is a woodland walk with Pete where he will give additional information on the plants growing in this spectacular area of the Quantocks.
